Sword and Sorcery Adventures
Students join others in their age group in exploring the neighborhood and nearby natural areas with experienced outdoor guides. Our programs are student-led – explorations and activities are determined by what students want to learn, and what they think will be the most fun!
We’ll also put our imaginations to the test as we create characters, roll dice, make our own wands and wizard staffs, participate in foam sword battles, and more! Students can gain proficiency in different areas by developing outdoor skills and creative skills on our skill tree. Activities can include:
Wildcrafting, Shelter building, Knot tying, Plant and animal identification, Rock hounding, Live Action Role Playing games (LARPing), Tabletop games, Wood carving, Water and beach games, Field games, Stealth games, Creating natural dyes, Animal calls, Bug hunts, Conservation activities, Plant etchings
